Senior Donyell Marshall joined journalism because of his passion for creative writing and his desire to improve his writing skills. He enjoys gathering information on topics that allow him to explore different perspectives and develop his creative thought process. His goals as a writer and publisher are to learn more about human behavior and emotions, to improve his overall writing abilities, and to have  fun reporting on sports. Outside of journalism, Donyell enjoys using his imagination to craft stories, playing basketball and other sports, and studying his religion. Donyell hopes to run a business in real estate and write a book. He believes that journalism helps him to get  the tools and experience to gather information, think creatively, and help his writing skills that will support both his career and personal projects.
