On March 20, 2015 the National Honor Society held inductions for 87 new members. Guest speaker Shawn Tarrant, who formerly represented the 40^th legislative district in the Maryland House of Delegates, spoke about the “four pillars” of NHS: leadership, service, scholarship, and character. While speaking to the audience he advised that they “need to have an open mind” and not be “afraid to be a leader.” The next round of members will be inducted this fall.
