Njeri Kamenwa, Editor-in-Chief
Njeri Kamenwa is a junior and Editor-in-Chief of the Raider Review. She joined the Raider Review in 2022 as a way to rediscover her passion for writing and journalism. Her favorite topic to cover is Arts and Entertainment, as she is a part of Elenor Roosevelt’s orchestra, and has been playing the viola for 7 years. Njeri aims to branch out to more topics she’s less confident about, such as politics and general news. She hopes that her writing can inspire others to reach out and find their calling in life.
Aside from journalism, Njeri likes listening to music (and playing it), solving word search puzzles, reading, and coloring books. Her favorite subjects are music, English, and History. She hopes to be more outgoing and learn to be open to new experiences.
After high school, Njeri wants to major in Journalism and minor in Music, hoping to balance two of her favorite hobbies. She plans to work/live in New York someday, and become a broadcast journalist for a large news corporation.
