Kalani Buggs, Sports Editor
Kalani Buggs is a Junior at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. This is his second year writing for The Raider Review, and he serves as the editor of the Sports section. He was excited about joining journalism due to his love for writing and talking about sports. Since joining journalism, Kalani has grown and enhanced as a much better writer. He loves talking and debating about football and basketball because it’s fun and interesting to him. He’s probably also the biggest Lebron James fan you’ll ever meet!
Kalani enjoys learning English in school and covering other stories of interest, such as Arts & Entertainment, Opinion, and Sports, but he mainly focuses on sports. Kalani hopes to bring more recognition to sports at all levels and for people to appreciate more sports pieces. Outside of journalism, Kalani spends his free time working out, playing basketball, playing video games, watching NBA, NFL, and college basketball and football games, and hanging out with his friends. After high school, Kalani plans to go to college to study journalism, and wants to be a professional basketball player, an NBA analyst, an ESPN talk show host, or have his own talk show about all levels of basketball.
