Cynthia Hopes, Staff Writer
Cynthia hopes joined The Raider Review as a staff writer in fall 2022. Throughout Cynthia’s school years she developed an interest in expressing herself through writing. She likes to journal about her personal life and goals. She joined journalism her senior year and hopes to develop and learn new skills that would improve her writing in order to provide a new opportunity to express her opinions and passions. Her goal during her first year of journalism is to publish very interesting and organized news. Outside of school, she plays volleyball and wishes to play college level. She has played on Roosevelt’s varsity volleyball since her freshman year and was selected captain her senior year. She is a great team player and enjoys uplifting spirits. She plans on majoring in business and marketing and believes that journalism could help advance her persuasive writing and learn to further express her passions and ideas.
