Alia Parker, Sports Editor
A true student-athlete, Alia Parker, a senior at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, strives for excellence in every field possible. She joined the ERHS Journalism team in 2016 after hearing a great pitch from her AP Language and Composition teacher, Mrs. Ruoff. She is also on the varsity basketball team and a member of the ERHS Italian Honor Society. Alia looks to journalism as a way she can present many headlining issues from a perspective that is often not heard. Some of her interests are: sports, languages, economics, greek mythology, healthy eating, and social justice.
