Yamileth Navarro, Staff Writer
Yamileth Navarro is a senior in the Science and Tech program and part of the Radier Review at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. They joined the Raider Review back in their junior year as a staff writer. Yami joined journalism since they had always enjoyed writing and had a passion for journalism since middle school. They hope they get to contribute a lot for the Raider Review and to inform students in an entertaining way, to keep them interested and on point. In middle school, Yamileth had decided that they wanted to major in journalism. As the years passed by they decided to be an Automotive Technician. They hope to start school at Universal Technical Institue (UTI) in Pennsylvania this summer.
Besides journalism, Yamileth Navarro loves photography. Yamileth enjoys baking, hiking, hanging out with friends and etc. They love soccer and no longer play anymore but always enjoy watching people play. They been doing Brazillian Jiu Jitsu for the past 6 years and that is their passion. They love nature and always go on walks and hikes. Yamileth enjoys working not just because of the money but also to distract their mind. They have a huge passion for cars and is all into the automotive industry. Since elementary Yamileth had thoughts of being a mechanic and before entering Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Yami had plans to go to Crossland High School to join the automotive program. Yet they decided to come to Eleanor Roosevelt High and join the S/T program instead.
