Vera Wilson
Vera Wilson, a creative girl who has been writing and drawing since daycare, has channeled her creative passion into a love for journalism and entertainment. Being a Senior, Vera tends not to have very much time on her hands, but despite her challenges with juggling multiple activities, she still has the drive to create entertaining and thought-provoking articles for the student body.
With plans to become a Clinical Social worker, Vera hopes to inspire and help children flourish in any environment, whether it be creatively or otherwise. With hopes to attend Champlain College in VT to obtain her Master’s Degree in Social Work, Vera has her future planned out, and hopes to surpass her goals.
As a dedicated Girl Scout and a dual enrollment student, Vera has experience with having far more than anticipated on her plate, and wishes to give anecdotal and helpful mental health advice when dealing with such strains on students’ psyches.
In her free time, Vera utilizes Journalism as her own outlet, with a passion for opinion pieces and photography. With a particular interest in approaching situations with an open mind, she hopes to give a platform to all voices, while still noting the broader scope of any given situation.
