Having been a student in the Science and Tech program at Roosevelt since freshman year, Megan Leonard was thrilled when her senior year had an open space for a Journalism class. She joined the class hoping to better understand her interpretation of media, and how to control the media she ingests. Her favorite parts of journalism include its ability to impact people’s knowledge of their surroundings. Megan hopes to incorporate what she learns about media and journalism to improve her ability to positively impact people’s lives and/or government within or outside of the United States.
