Ari Minor
Junior Ari Minor is a staff writer for the Raider Review. Since she was eight years old she has always enjoyed writing as well as reading, creating short stories and small poems for past English classes encouraged her to hone her linguistic abilities. She joined Journalism primarily to write informative pieces to further empower her student body with the gift of knowledge and awareness. The political climate of her and other countries is more important than ever, and she believes that it is crucial that the younger generations be looped in as well. Though the topics at the forefront of her mind are more serious, she thoroughly enjoys the A&E and sports portions of the newspaper.
The arts in general have always interested Ari, theatre, sculpture and traditional art are only some of her favorite mediums, though In her free time Ari often listens to music. Having an affinity for genres such as hip-hop, rap, metal, rock and electronic, she spends a lot of time researching and experiencing new songs and albums. Ari stifled her future for some time, having interests in art, wild life and psychology, she wasn’t sure what to pursue. This was until she took her second semester biology class sophomore year and became infatuated with the inworkings of the human body. She settled on becoming a biologist and plans on applying to schools such as Towson, University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins.
