The Girls Varsity Basketball team played their season opener against the Suitland Rams on Tuesday, December 9th at the Raider’s home. The ladies played strong and never let their guard down, leading all four quarters of the game. It was a high scoring game, that is, for the Raiders. At the half it was 34 to 15 with the Rams still hungry. Newly University of Central Florida commit senior Tolulope Omokore scored 11 points and starting small forward, junior Kaila Charles had 20 points. This dynamic duo led the team to a humble victory 74 to 47. The girls will play Highpoint December 12th at 7 p.m. at Highpoint.
