Amir Heyward, Staff Writer
Amir Heyward is a staff writer and senior at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. He hopes his time in journalism will help him learn how to better express and explain his opinions, as well as teach him to become a better researcher. It being his last year in high school, he wants to cover the highlights of his senior year, like prom, pep rallies, and graduation. Outside of journalism, Amir plays trombone for the school band and volunteers his time at a local garden. He is also passionate about software development and learning to play chess. After high school, he plans to attend college to study computer science and music.
