Sebastian Zeller, Co-Editor In Chief
Sebastian Zeller, a senior, is a second year writer and first year co-editor in chief for the Raider Review. He developed a love and appreciation of journalism through his father, a former journalist. He believes good journalism is essential to any society, especially a democratic one. He has always had a love for literature and writing which encouraged him to join journalism. Additionally, he joined journalism to express himself and to learn how to write better, as well as work on his interviewing skills. With the Raider Review, he hopes to publish articles about art, politics, and culture. Sebastian hopes that his articles will spark an internal conversation within his readers, even if they disagree with the perspective espoused.
Sebastian has always held a strong passion for the humanities; particularly the study of human characters. He hopes journalism can help him understand others better and apply sociocultural paradigms to pertinent issues of the time. Outside of school, Sebastian enjoys reading, writing poetry, listening to music, and watching films. His favorite novel of all time is The Sranger by Albert Camus, and he tends to enjoy classic novels. He hopes to get an advanced degree in psychology and counseling and become a therapist.
