Erica Gibbs is a senior and a staff writer who has always had an interest in the arts, whether it be literature, photography, film or music. She plays the piano and violin and also sings and is interested in many genres of music. Gibbs is also film fanatic – she loves watching movies and TV shows of nearly all genres although her skills aren’t really in filmography.

She enjoys watching the news and talking about interesting topics. Being able to connect with other people is a born passion of Erica’s that she would like to use to succeed in the school paper. Also being a keen traveler, Erica would like to focus a little on exploring new places an experienced traveler, she would like to explore new places.

She is excited to pursue the challenges of reporting important and relevant news as well as exploring the many facets of journalism. Erica plans on going to a 4-year university to study music business management or neuroscience or biology. Hopefully in college she will be able to continue involvement in journalism.
