Chiamaka Iwuala

Senior Chiamaka Iwuala made the abrupt but honest decision to try journalism last minute as a publisher because of a gap in her schedule and to better her writing skills. Despite the decision, she knew what her true intentions were subconsciously, to spread awareness. There’s a laundry list of topics that Chiamaka is passionate about like mental health, inclusion, recognition, and advocacy. She desired a way to educate people and remove any possible stigmas surrounding these topics.

Her hobbies include art of any medium. She marvels at sheer ingenuity and spends time creating art of her own. Her go-to medium for art is drawing with a pencil and digital art, but she can’t help but love art when it’s in film, music, ceramics, literature, and more. Chiamaka wants to go to college to pursue anesthesiology. She doesn’t wish to let go of her creativity when she grows up, so she also wishes to start her own business. She hopes that journalism would be able to foster new creative ideas and help her when it’s time for her to begin the act of making her dreams come true.
