David Ayer brings yet another adrenaline-filled, emotional movie to the big screen. Fury shows what society fails to conceive correctly, and how society fails to understand the reality of war. This movie takes place during World War II as the allies make their final push into European land. A battle-hardened army sergeant “Wardaddy” played by the familiar face of Brad Pitt, commands a Sherman tank and its five man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Out-numbered, out-gunned, and with a rookie soldier (Logan Lerman), Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds.
This movie is filled with action, blood, and gore. It leaves the audience speechless, astounded, and amazed. This is not disposable popcorn entertainment. Ayer’s aim here is a film that will stick with solid, memorable World War II movies.Nothing more, nothing less. The potency of action and suspense leaves the audience mesmerized.
