Veteran leaders Donte Whitaker and Jermiah Rice have stepped up to anchor the squad, while sophomores Aaden Waithe and Michael Johnson have provided a spark with their play. Having officially secured the Regional Championship, the Raiders now shift their focus to the State Quarterfinals. This victory marks a major milestone, but the team is far from satisfied. Throughout the video, viewers get an inside look at their performance on the court, showcasing the teamwork and determination that fueled their regional title run. As the State Quarterfinals approach, the players and coaches share their raw emotions while also balancing the confidence of champions with the focus required for a deep postseason push. The regional is in the case; now, the hunt for a state title begins.

He enjoys learning about the details and what led to a particular occurrence. Doing deep research on physical and internet mysteries to uncover clues is something that very much entertains him. He’s interested in being able to write thoroughly and communicate clearly about things that have changed in the world. Loves electronics and aviation, he has built a diverse portfolio of passions with big dreams and aspirations. He wants to be able to publish his own writings to be used in scholarly works in order to benefit the community. In Eleanor Roosvelt, he wants to make an impact and benefit the kids of the school. He continues to advance his career in science and technology while still continuing his journey to better writing, while pursuing a brilliant future while attending Eleanor Roosevelt High School.
Imani Manning Lewis
Imani Manning Lewis, Staff Writer
Imani Mnning, a Junior in ERHS joined journalism to better understand the art of journalism and to follow his blind curiosity about how news is created and shared. He is especially interested in learning about news format—how information is structured, written, and delivered to readers in a way that is clear and engaging. By practicing these skills, he hopes to grow into a more confident writer with the ability to create stories and publications independently. Outside of journalism, Imani enjoys reading, playing games, and exploring all things food-related. He has been teaching himself how to cook and experimenting with new recipes, using creativity in the kitchen as another way to challenge himself. Although his career path is not fully decided, Imani is considering becoming some sort of entrepreneur in the future. He believes that journalism will still play an important role in preparing him for this, since it builds valuable skills like communication, organization, and problem-solving. Whether he continues with journalism, explores entrepreneurship, or pursues another opportunity, he is eager to keep learning and applying what he discovers along the way.

Wilmor Moreira Tercero
Driven by curiosity and commitment to truth, Wilmor Moreira, a junior at ERHS, decided to post stories in newspapers that encourage people to open it, and cause impact that changes lives. Wilmor also believes that sports news is very important to support the athletes that play those sports, inspiring people to try them out and get more people involved in the ERHS sports scene. Wilmor himself has tried out many different sports like baseball, wrestling, boing, basketball, chess, football, and soccer. He has commited to improve his writing, reading, researching, and analysis skills every day with the Raider Review.
