Super Bowl 60 took place this Sunday, 8th February 2026. I want to open this by congratulating all Seattle Seahawks fans on their win against the New England Patriots with a score of (29-13), winning the title once again since 2015.
Some highlights of the game include the big new Super Bowl kicking record of 5 field goals, set by Seattle’s Jason Myers. As well as Seattle’s defense, best known as the “Dark Side” led by head coach Mike Macdonald, which was one of the main reasons that led them to their victory.
As for the Patriots, Drake Maye threw for 235 passing yards in the 4th quarter alone, setting a new Super Bowl record for the most passing yards in a single quarter. He led two touchdowns along with Mack Hollins for a 35-yard strike and later connected with Rhamondre Stevenson for a 7-yard score.
On the other hand, it wasn’t just a game; it was a global statement. Bad Bunny took the Super Bowl to Puerto Rico for 13 historic minutes, making millions of Latinos proud of being Latinos and their cultures.
About 135 million people watched the biggest game of the night. The night was lovely, featuring surprise guests including Lady Gaga singing “Die with a smile” in a salsa version and Ricki Martin singing “Lo que le paso a Hawaii.” The show included a live wedding and a message of unity that “the only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
