Fishkeeping 101- Diseases

Diseases are something every aquarist will encounter at least once, these are some of the more common ones, viewer discretion advised for images of dying/very sick fish

These aren’t the only diseases in the hobby, just some of the more common ones, please do your own independent research to make sure you ID an illness correctly

Sam Stewart-Ricketts, Staff Writer
Sam Stewart-Ricketts is a Senior and this is his First year working as the Managing Editor of The Raider Review. this is his second year on staff and he wants to be a marine biologist, and hopes that learning to write well as a journalist will help him when he is ready to publish his own studies. After high school, he plans tomove to England to pursue a PhD in marine biology. Sam is a goalie for the Wells Warriors, an ice hockey team based in College Park and is also a member of Venture Crew 746. His favorite place in the world is Camp Bowman, a Scouts BSA summer camp in Goshen, Virginia, where he worked and lived for 6 weeks over the summer. Sam also enjoys playing video games, some of his favorites are NHL 22, Punch Out, and any game from the Pokemon series. Sam Streams on Twitch and uploads youtube videos under the name Azjha_59. His favorite movie franchise is Jurassic Park, and his favorite band is Rare Americans
