At 3:30 p.m. yesterday, the girls varsity soccer team took down the High Point Eagles in a 4-0 win.

The Eagles held up the fight in the first half and kept the Raiders to a 1-0 score.

At the start of the second half the girls exploded with a burst of energy and scored two goals which slowly broke down the Eagles and then led to another goal.

After this game the Roosevelt girl’s regular conference record is 2-0-0. They beat the Suitland Rams in a  8-0 on opening day.
