It’s that time of year again: Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. We all know how hard this day is, whether you are single or in a relationship. Forget about trying to book a reservation; not everyone enjoys racking up a bill or going out. If you’re one of those people, don’t worry. We have gathered a list of seven romantic movies for you to watch while you kick back and relax this February 14th.

  1. To All The Boys I Loved Before is about a junior named Lara who writes secret letters to boys she likes. One night, her little sister Kitty sneaks into her room while she sleeps and finds her collection of letters. That’s when everything gets interesting. Rotten Tomatoes ranking: 98%. Available on Netflix streaming. Starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo.
  2. Sierra Burgess is a Loser is about a smart, unpopular girl who aspires to get into college. One day, a boy named Jamey from another school asks Veronica–a popular mean girl and Sierra’s bully–for her number, but she gives him Sierra’s number instead. It’s very sweet and heart touching, especially for the lovey-dovey holiday. Rotten Tomatoes ranking: 68%. Available on Netflix streaming. Starring Shannon Purser, Kristine Froseth, RJ Cyler, and Noah Centineo.
  3. The Kissing Booth is about two best friends, Elle and Lee, who were born on the same day and have been friends for most of their lives. They create a set of friendship rules, but Elle breaks the most important one. Rotten Tomatoes ranking: 95%. Available on Netflix streaming. Starring Joey King and Jacob Elordi.
  4. Irreplaceable You is a tear-jerking romance about a woman named Abbie who has been given a terminal cancer diagnosis and her mission to find her fiancé and best friend since childhood, Sam, a new love for when she’s gone. Rotten Tomatoes ranking: 32%. Available on Netflix streaming. Starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michiel Huisman, and Claire Holt.
  5. Romeo and Juliet is a lovely classic chronicling the tale of star-crossed lovers who refuse to let their families’ hatred keep them away from each other. Rotten Tomatoes ranking: 71%. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes.
  6. Alex Strangelove is a very sweet, comedy/drama film that shows love to the LGBTQ+ community. In it, a high school student named Alex begins dating his first girlfriend, Claire. Alex then meets Elliot, an openly gay teenager. Alex begins to have feelings for him as well, leading him to question his sexuality. Rotten Tomatoes ranking: 82%. Available on Netflix streaming. Starring Daniel Doheny, Madeline Weinstein, and Antonio Marziale.
  7. Titanic is a classic drama that tells of a great love that once lived. It premiered in 1997, so you may need to rent this film, but make sure you have your tissues on deck and maybe even a shoulder to cry on. Rotten Tomatoes ranking: 75%. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

This Valentine’s Day, no matter is you’re on the couch alone, hanging with friends, or snuggled up with your boo, these heartfelt, funny, and lovable movies will sure make this a holiday to remember.
