This 2017 season, the ERHS Girls Volleyball both Junior Varsity and Varsity went undefeated. They played their last regular season game against Wise on Thursday, October 26th. Both JV and Varsity are very proud of how they performed this season.

“We fought hard to stay undefeated.” said Leilani Saoifanua, a Sophomore on JV. The JV team never lost a set this season. They beat all of the teams in their league. Including their long-time rival, Bowie. They seemed very happy that they had gone for the third year in a row, undefeated.

For Varsity, Olivia Joachim, a junior , stated “I think maybe only one or two teams were actual competition. Bowie and Wise.” The Varsity team also went undefeated this season only losing one set this season. They also defeated their long time rival Bowie for the first time in years. They also seemed very excited that they had finally ended their regular undefeated.

Varsity is very excited to be competing for the State Title in the playoffs in next weeks. Hopefully, they will be the championships this year.
