On Saturday October 13, the Raiders football team won their homecoming game against  rival Bowie 41-0. It was a one sided game with ERHS jumping out to a early 27-0 lead in the first quarter.  The raiders earn their sixth win of the season and look to continue their 4 game winning streak heading into next week’s game against wise.

Senior running back Elisha McDonald said going into the game “ feels good and ready to get my hands on some Bowie bulldogs”.  Also asked Elisha about his experience on the new turf field “truly an amazing feeling and I feel blessed because other schools don’t have it”. He said the keys to success in the game was “everybody executed what they were supposed to do and gave 100%”.

The raiders start preparing for a tough upcoming game on the road against Wise this Friday 7 pm. ERHS looks to come in and pull off the upset by defeating the pumas and handing them their first lost of the season.
