Masoma Ngupkam

Masoma Ngupkam, Writer

Masoma took journalism to understand how it works and to help improve her writing skills. Since she wants to write and publish a book, she’s willing to learn as much about writing as she can, and she thought journalism would be a great way to learn about it, even if it’s not writing fiction. She hopes to cover many kinds of stories, but she would prefer not to write about sports.

Masoma realizes that informing people is very important in order to keep people aware of what is happening in the world around them, as well as making sure they’re working towards progress in our society. She hopes to make sure students stay informed in the works she writes.

Some of Masoma’s hobbies are writing, crocheting, and reading. Reading is her oldest hobby, while crocheting is only something she started more recently.

Masoma wants to be able to cooperatively work with others in whatever line of work she ends up doing in the future, and she hopes being in Journalism will help her build on that skill.
