Baseball Overview

ERHS varsity baseball team played their first game for the season at Charles H. Flowers high school on March 21st. Coach Andrew Capece teaches here at Eleanor Roosevelt high school as a math teacher . The varsity baseball team record is 7 to 4. Losing to only Flowers, Bowie, Severna Park, and Huntingtown. Overall the team players feel as though they are having a “good season.” Over the past years ERHS varsity baseball team all had well seasons. They made it to the final four in the 2013 and 2014 school years, giving them a possible chance to win championships. Maybe this year something will change.
Speaking to senior Myles Hooker, who’s currently the team captain says he “feels as though the season has been great.” and also “the team has great talent this year.” According to Myles, “last season was amazing as well and it was one of the funniest seasons I’ve had.”
