On Wednesday February 28, 2015, the Eleanor  Roosevelt Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity Basketball teams both defeated the Largo Lions at Dr. Henry Wise high school to become Prince Georges county champions.

The Boys’ basketball team was able to leave Wise high school with a victory Wednesday night with a score of 58-51. The Raiders were kept the lead throughout the whole game. The teams defense was an essential part of the win.

The Girls’ basketball team left Wise high school county champions for the second year in a row. Unlike the boys game, it was a little more competitive with the score going back and forth. The Lady Raiders gained the win with a score of 57-54.

Both teams will play on Wednesday March 4, 2015 in the County Playoffs here at Eleanor Roosevelt.
