Eleanor Roosevelt Varsity Boys’ Basketball team defeats the Bowie Bulldogs 61-54 on Thursday December 18, 2014 at Roosevelt; leading to a three game winning streak. The Raiders came out and upset their number one rival of Prince George’s county. The Raiders were in the lead from beginning to end, but both teams went back and forth the entire game. 4th Quarter was filled with a roller coaster of emotions as both teams were giving their all to take the win. Raiders went into half time in the lead and came back in the second half confident and ready to upset the Bulldogs. The Raiders next scheduled game is on Saturday January 3rd, 2015 at Wilson against Theodore Roosevelt, but they may compete at Calvert Holiday Tourney on Friday December 26, 2014. (TBA)
