All across the Greenbelt area, homes are decorated with beautiful colorful lights to celebrate the holiday season. So much effort goes into these different displays but sadly, not everyone is able to get out and see them whether it’s too cold or you just don’t have the time. This photo story will bring those gorgeous holiday views to you so you can be warm and comfortable in your home while also getting a chance to see the ways people are being creative when decorating their homes as well as other displays in the City of Greenbelt.
Out of all the people who decorated one response they all had in common was that their favorite thing about Christmas is spending time with family. One source said he always decoraed out of habit since his children were little and still continues so that when they come to visit they can enjoy it. Decorating can be considered a fun way to mark the start of the holiday season which is why our source added that “its also to try and get in the spirit.” Evelyn, a resident of Greenbelt said helping her family decorate the yard gets her into the Christmas spirit, she also adds, “the different decorations give happy vibes.” But at the end of the day no matter how you show your Christmas spirit or if you dont celebrate, the Rader Review wishes eveyone a Happy Holiday season and a very Happy New Years.
