Noah Tabor, Staff Writer
Noah Tabor is a freshman staff writer at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. He joined journalism to further develop his reporting and writing skills. His goal in Journalism is to cover sports news and topics alike. Besides journalism, he has hobbies such as playing football and graphic designing. Noah enjoys journalism class the most as it gives him a place to voice his opinion and help spread awareness of topics to other people. He hopes to use journalism in college to get a job as a commentator or a broadcaster.
Alexandra Herrera-Mazariegos, Staff Writer
A new staff writer, Alexandra Herrera Mazariegos joins the Raider Review in 2023. This sophomore enjoys writing and reading, occasionally, however, when writing she has trouble expressing herself well. She hopes that during her time in journalism, she can learn how to express herself better and learn new writing styles and techniques. During this year on the raider review, she hopes she will be able to report on things such as sports events, and topics that may not be talked about enough. She hopes to be able to inform and shed light on problems or benefits during this year.
Although she hopes to stay objective through her writing she also wants to be able to give an opinion. Alexandra has a goal to publish three or more articles in journalism. Although she is very interested in reading and writing, she also has interests such as art which she is very passionate about, and music. These are three passions she has always had and is glad she has the opportunity to get better at them.
Daevon Walker, Staff Writer
Daevon Walker, Senior Staff Writer, joined journalism because of the writing style, and also to learn how to write articles, sports articles are also something he plans to learn as well. He wants to learn the different types of ways to be a journalist and find the correct information to gather to create a great article. He says he plays basketball any time he can and plans on Going to UMBC for college and writing articles and having new blogs as well.
