Annalisa
Annalisa is a long-time owner of the family bar house in Ionia. She has experience with a variety of people and has connections to almost every bar house and hotel in the area. Her bar house was recently shut down for a triple murder. She doesn’t want any trouble with the police. She is being extra cooperative to get them out and make her house safe again as far as she is concerned.
It all started on a Thursday afternoon.
Annalise, stands in her usual spot behind the bar waiting for customers to come in she was having a very slow day.
A detective walks in with a child.
The man reaches the bar stools and starts speaking. “Hello, would you be Mrs. Annalise?”
“Yes” She replied.
A curt response in greeting is all she can give while analyzing the situation and concluding that the child may be a witness of some sort for a case he may be working on. It is not her first time being questioned like this,
“You are a detective I assume?” She asked.
“Yes, please call me Rue.” the man replied. “I just want to check up on things here and ask you a few questions.”
Giving a slight nod Annalisa sits down at the bar.
“Has anybody come in here recently?” Rue asked
“Someone in a trench coat, although if you’re looking for someone like that walk down the street, and you’ll find hundreds! Especially with how cold it is around here.” She concluded.
“Hmm… tell me if anybody shows up” he stated.
And with that, the detective and the little kid strutted out.
“Strange” she muttered to herself and went into the back room to clean up for closing. she had decided that she would close early for the day. There are no customers she reasoned. She grabbed her pack and walked out the door not realizing she has left a developing crime scene.
Violet
Violet is angry. Her mother ten minutes ago had handed her the instructions for the dinner for the next two nights, secured the Tyrmox for a mission, and left with dad and Rue. She knew that Dandelion would cook the food for Indigo and her so she did not even glance at the dinner instructions as she dropped them on the counter. Dandelion always took care of them. She does not understand how Dandelion always was so calm and responsible after what happened to her mom. If it were her she would be out there with Rue investigating murderers. Instead, they were stuck in Tyrmox doing math and eating freezer food. Violet wanted to help with finding the person who did these murders. Her parents and Rue never let her come. In her opinion, they were no fun.
Indigo was reading a book draped across his bunk bed glancing at the door every 30 seconds. Violet knew that he was wondering if they were coming back. He hates it when they leave she knew that for a fact. He is way more scared when they leave ever since Dandelion’s mom… ¨ Time for lunch¨ dandelion suddenly said Indigo jumped and dropped his book.
They all sat at the table in silence and began constructing their sandwiches. ¨ I want to get out of here and solve this mystery¨ Violet said.
Dandelion sighed ¨we need to stay in here where it is safe besides your mom set up sensors around the Tyrmox so she would know if they were getting out ¨.
Violet’s mother had become better and better at blocking Violets ways to get out during her missions. When they were on their last mission Violet convinced Dandelion to help her get out and right as they got out of the Tyrmox her mother was there with a serious look on her face. They both got in so much trouble so now Dandelion refuses to do it again. All the Sudden a scream broke the silence..
Rue
This mission was an unexpected job they were supposed to have a different assignment and not be put on one of the most dangerous cases in Iona. Especially because their unit had children in it. And on top of that, what happened in the last assignment… No, don’t think about that he muttered to himself.
At least they had the Tyrmox which Zara monitored so closely because of her daughter violets determination to put herself in danger.
He is glad that Dandelion was more careful than that. He had told Dandelion to remember to keep them all safe as he was packing for this mission. She was tearing up as she told him that he had to come back.
”You take care of yourself I will be back before you know it and we will be out of here” he reassured her.
He knew that this was all because of the events of the last mission. As he sat in his camp with Zara and Kora he prepared his tools for the investigation.
The next morning they all got up and began their journey into the hotel with Kora behind him and Zara in front. They spread out and began to do the routine check in the entryway staying very quiet and stepping carefully. All of the sudden a scream tore through the air.
Flashbacks ran through his head as he turned around..
