This year, due to a four day week, spirit week will take place Monday, Sept. 15 through Thursday, Sept. 18.
Homecoming will be Friday night, and the parade and pre-game will be held Saturday.
Although some students, like senior Holly Hughes, characterize this year’s spirit week as “lame” because of the shortened schedule, many are excited nonetheless.
Senior Isaac Solomon is looking forward to theme day, “All Around the World” because we get the opportunity to “learn about diverse cultures.”
On Wednesday’s theme day, seniors will represent India, juniors will represent Egypt, sophomores will represent France, and freshmen will represent Brazil.
Class color day, which will be held Thursday, is usually the day with the most participation.
Senior Joya Grillo said she is excited for her last homecoming spirit week.
“I think it’s going to be exciting since we are seniors, we are going to go all out” said Grillo.
Monday will be “Throw Back Day” when students will dress in 90s attire. Tuesday is crazy day.
