Spring Break Shortened: Students and Staff will Report on April 6

According to Prince George’s County Public Schools Twitter page, students and staff can expect to go to school April 6 on the scheduled last day of spring break.

On March 2, schools closed due to a wind-related state of emergency. The school system has already used inclement weather make up days scheduled for June 14, June 15, and February 9.

PGCPS has applied for a waiver, though on Twitter, they said it is unlikely that this request will be reviewed by the state of Maryland before May.

If school closes for additional days, students and teachers will also have to attend on Thursday, April 5.
