Jaidyn Jones is a senior here at Eleanor Roosevelt.  Encouraged by a friend and led by her desire to improve her writing skills, Jaidyn decided to join journalism. This will be her first year with the Raider review. 

Jaidyn is a staff writer with a passion to bring attention to those who are less represented  and to write news that interest young people. In her articles, she wants to portray different groups of people such as people of color and those in the LGBTQ+ community in a positive light.

In her free time Jaidyn likes to play video games, shop online, and listen to music . She also has a creative side; she enjoys drawing and painting. She plans to apply her creativity and the skills she obtains from journalism to her future career as an author.
