The Raider Review

Eli Hertzler-McCain
Elizabeth Hertzler-McCain, or Eli, is a twelfth-grade journalism student at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. She is an avid reader and proudly displays her zeal for politics. She channels her strength and determination in these categories to fuel her power lifting talents, which have recently qualified her for Team USA to compete in the World Championships of the 100% Raw Powerlifting Federation. Having both a Puerto-Rican and Mennonite background, Eli enjoys the freedom of a household where she speaks Spanish and English fluently, allowing her a variety of cultural insights and a key to the door of the language barrier. She plans on taking her political passions to either Clark University or Smith College, where she will major in sociology or political science.
