Volleyball Done and on to the Next One

In an overwhelming 3-0 game yesterday, the ERHS varsity volleyball team eliminated Laurel to make their way into the second round of the Prince George’s County 4A playoffs Monday.

Senior Maya Ngundam stood out with a high-energy performance.

“I feel like we have a good chance at winning” states, Ngundam said. “We just need to keep doing what we know best”

The team seemed to have an effortless sense of chemistry on the school’s new court, though Ngundam said that one of the biggest problems they had changing over from last year top this year was “learning how to play with our new varsity members.”

Raiders came ready to play from the opening serve, and won each match in the game yesterday. The Raiders take on the High Point High schools Eagles in a home game at 6 tonight.
