Lorna Cuthbertson, Business Manager
Lorna Cuthbertson, senior ar Eleanor Roosevelt, is a staff member for the Raider Review. Her interest in journalism stems from her passion for research and truth-seeking. She joined the Raider Review in 2017. Journalism has allowed her a chance to learn to dive deeper into topics she is passionate about.
She learned the importance of independent education and that she has the responsibility to share what she has learned with others. Alongside being a staff member of the Raider Review, she participates in several extracurriculars including the costume committee of the ERHS drama department, organizer of Bring Change to Roose, and coder with Girls Who Code.
Outside of school, she has been a member of Girl Scouts of Nation’s Capital for 13 years. She also tap dances. When she is not at school, she enjoys reading, makeup artistry, and learning languages and international cultures. Lorna plans to pursue a career different from journalism, but the skills learned from her time with the paper will stay with through all her future endeavors.
